ADVANCED SURF LESSONS

Advanced surf lessons are tailored to those who are already experienced surfers mastering maneuvers (bottom turn, cutback, floater) in waist to head-high+ waves, that want to learn or work on specific maneuvers, get some barrel time or surf demanding waves.

Individual goals will be set and worked on after initial evaluation of skill level given. All sessions include surf spot briefing, functional warm up exercises and exchange of surfer’s tales and wisdom.

We follow and teach all necessary safety precautions. All guides are fully qualified (FPS/ISA) and hold ocean-lifesaver license.

Surfing already for several years I was still struggling to pull into hollow waves and get some barrel time. The guys worked very professional on this specific task using video analysis and giving instant feedback on the spot. FAQs

Do I Need to Be a Good Swimmer?

Would be of advantage, as we will surf as well spots that need a long paddle to get to and are influenced by currents.

Am I considered an advanced surfer?

We would evaluate you as an advanced surfer, if you can confidently surf different boards according to wave type and already do various maneuvers. You already have some years of experience in surfing and want to surf more effectively by fine-tuning specific maneuvers, aerials or looking for some barrel-time.

What do I need to bring?

For surfing you will get all material from us. This includes wetsuit, board and leash. You should have a towel and bikini/shorts/speedo to wear underneath the wetsuit, if you prefer to. We do recommend bringing sun screen (or blocker/ zinc) and something cozy to wear (hoodie, beanie) after the surf lesson in case the weather and water conditions might cool you down a bit.

Which surf spots are we surfing?

Since we are a mobile surf school, we will choose the best beach or reef break for you to surf, depending on wind / wave conditions and according to your skills and goals. The surf spot will be announced before the lesson. We will surf beaches and reefs at the south and the west coast in a radius of about 45 minutes driving from our surf schools base, usually choosing the nearest best surf spot possible.
