Lisbon is one of the best surf cities in the world, where you can surf all year round with mild climate and very good surfing conditions for all levels. The westcoast north of Cascais catches all predominantly north-westernly swells with a bit of sheltered spots south of Lisbon (Costa Caparica) and once waves get huge, offers plenty of nice breaks at the south-coast between Cascais and Lisbon - the "linha". Our lisbon area based surf school covers all of them, of course.

The Lisbon area based surf school is located in the west of Lisbon, near Cascais and Praia do Guincho. Since we operate as a mobile surf school, we will pick you up and surf at spots from Costa Caparica up to Ericeira, but most of the time around Cascais area surfing beaches like Carcavelos, Torre, Guincho and Praia Grande.

SURF! But of course you can also hike, horse ride or mountain bike Sintra natural reserve and coastline with its beautiful hidden beaches that invite for a sunbath or refreshing dip into the Atlantic ocean. Cascais, Sintra and, of course, Lisbon offer lots of culinary delights and sightseeing venues. Ask us for tipps and organizing!

At the beaches open to the northwest swells, such as Praia Grande, Praia Pequena, Praia do Guincho and Costa da Caparica there are almost always good waves. Should the waves become too large (sometimes in winter) or at rare southern swells, then the south-facing beaches on the Costa do Estoril (Estoril, São Pedro do Estoril and Carcavelos) also called “Linha” offer perfect conditions for beginners and professionals.
