TERMS AND CONDITIONS
THE BOOKING
When booking a course, a contract is made when the booking is confirmed either in writing, email or phone by Karma Surf School. When booking via the phone this is a verbal contract.
50% payment is due at the time of booking. This can be in the form of online booking system (PayPal), Cash or Credit/ Debit card. The person making the booking accepts responsibility for payment for everyone on the booking and is responsible for ensuring that all other persons on the booking read the Terms and Conditions below and that they are aware of the booking details.
All participants must inform Karma Surf School of any health related problems.
If you decide to buy a pack of classes, full payment is due at the time of the purchase. You have one year to use it.
CHANGING YOUR BOOKING
Karma Surf School will make every effort to arrange any changes requested after the booking has been confirmed. Any changes are subject to availability of course dates, places, and or Instructor availability.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be sent in writing / email wherever possible and will be effective on the date which they are received by Karma Surf School.
No cancellation charges if you cancel at least 48hours before the lesson.
50% of the lesson is charged if you cancel from 48hours to 6hours prior to the class.
In case of not appearing on a booked lesson without saying before, full charge in applied.
If you are on a class pack it works the same way (eg. If you don’t appear on a booked lesson, this lesson will not be replaced).
SURF CONDITIONS
If Karma Surf School considers sea conditions to be too dangerous to teach, your lesson will be re-arranged for an alternative date or time, according to your preference.
PARTICIPATION LIABILITY AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
No-one should participate in any surfing lesson if they are suffering from a heart condition, pregnant or if they don’t know how to swim. In no circumstances can a participant be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs at the time of the lesson.
All course members must agree to abide by all instructions and decisions that Karma Surf School and its instructors make in order to secure the safety and comfort of all participants.
As Karma Surf School pretends to have surfing material and equipment in good conditions at all times, course members are responsible for immediately reporting any damage caused to the equipment.
Karma Surf School assumes no liability in respect of any personal injury, loss, damage, consequential loss or third party claims which occur through no fault of its own and/or its employees. All other liability or conditions implied by law are excluded to the fullest extent.
